2026 Wood Pussy James Craig Solo Bowl Saturday, June 20th, 2026 at MBC
Organizing Authority: Monmouth Boat Club Red Bank, NJ
Rules: The regatta will be governed by “The Racing Rules of Sailing 2025–2028” as adopted by, and including the prescriptions of, United States Sailing as well as the 2007 By-laws and Specifications of the United States Wood Pussy Class Association. All skippers, by participating in the regatta, agree to be bound by “The Racing Rules of Sailing 2025–2028” and all other rules that govern this event. All boats must sail with required class equipment. All skippers should be Regular or Special Regular members of the United States Wood Pussy Association, but class membership is not required for this regatta.
Entries: The regatta is open to boats in the Wood Pussy Class. Crews are not permitted in this regatta.
Fee: $30.00 fee per skipper.
Regatta Schedule: Saturday, June 20, 2026
The regatta will be scored per the Low Point System of Rule A2.
Time Limit: The time limit for each race will be 60 minutes for the first boat to finish. Boats finishing more than 20 minutes after the first boat that finishes will be scored DNF. This changes Rule 35, A4, and A5.
Courses: Courses are described in the Sailing Instructions available at registration.
Series Score: The regatta is scheduled for three (3) races and one (1) race shall constitute a regatta. This modifies class By-Laws article 4, Section 6. There will be no drops for this regatta. This modifies Rule A2.
Refreshments provided after racing. Recognition/trophies to fifth place overall.
