Sailing at Monmouth Boat Club

Whether you're a novice or an expert sailor, or even if you've never set foot in a sailboat, Monmouth Boat Club has something to offer you. Learn to sail by participating in one of of our educational programs, and you'll become an expert in no time. We have an Adult Sailing education program, and, for youngsters, there is junior sailing. Our Junior Sailing program is a popular summer program that has imparted a lifelong love of sailing in many children and teens.
You do not have to be an MBC member to take adult sailing lessons or to participate in our junior program, and no prior sailing experience is necessary.
For MBC members who know how to sail and want to be a part of one of our many Fleets and Groups, it's easy to participate. Reach out to the Fleet Captain (listed on each fleet page) to learn more about a fleet.
Our Saturday Sailing program connects MBC members with experienced sailors for a fun, relaxing sail on the Navesink River every Saturday afternoon during the sailing season.
For the competitive hearts, you can compete all year long in one of our many racing programs. See our Racing page to learn more.
