Cruising Fleet

Fleet Captain: Ed Bullwinkel

The Cruising Fleet is one MBC's largest fleets and runs a number of cruises and events during the season including the popular monthly Meet and Eat at the Club. The CF maintains more than 50 moorings in the mooring field in the Navesink River that are used by members and guests.

Overnight Docking

If you plan to leave your boat at the dock overnight, the Vice Commodore needs to be aware of your plans.  Please call or email to let him know where the boat is, the boat name, how long it will be at the dock and why.  When docking, please be conscious of any ongoing or upcoming one-design races or regattas and also Junior program activity.

Vessel Safety Check Program

MBC’s Dr. Bill Henry is a certified vessel safety inspector (US Power Squadron, US Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary). Bill will be happy to inspect your vessel to be sure it has the necessary safety equipment on board and advise you of anything you may need for safe boating. If your boat meets safety standards, you will be awarded the Safe Vessel Decal and it may give you a break on your vessel’s marine insurance.
