We are pleased that you are interested in joining the Monmouth Boat Club (MBC). MBC was established in 1879 for the greater enjoyment of the Navesink River through a common interest in boating.  It is an informal and friendly organization.  The members are drawn together by a love of sailing, rowing, and power boating plus the many social activities at our historic clubhouse on the Navesink River. 

You may apply to join MBC as either a Regular/Family, Young Adult/Family or Junior member. 

A Family membership may also include sons or daughters who have not reached the age of 23. MBC extends privileges to Regular members that include full 24-hour access to club facilities, the opportunity to participate in club events, and full voting rights at our monthly General Membership meetings.

MBC is maintained entirely by its members. There is no full time staff, so membership includes both privileges and responsibilities. Responsibilities include ongoing participation in various work parties and events throughout the season and, if interested, as club supervisors and officers.

***Please note that as a Member of MBC, you may not solicit business from other members or conduct any business at or from the club.

***PWCs(Jet-skis/Wave runners) are currently prohibited from being launched or used from the club facilities

To take the next step towards becoming a member, complete the application below. Please include the names of your sponsors who are existing members at MBC. If you do not have a sponsor, please let us know so that we may assist in helping to find a sponsor. 

Applications must be accompanied by payment for the initiation fee and 2024 dues that are based on your Membership type:

Regular Member/Family Membership - 35 years of age or older,  One-time Initiation Fee $1,300,  plus Dues ($951/year) = $2,251 first year total.

Regular Member/Family Membership - If between 28 and 34 years of age (both spouses of a Family Membership), 50% off One-time Initiation Fee ($650) instead of $1,300 and annual dues of ($951) = $1,601 first year total.

Young Adult/Family Membership - If between 24 and 27 years of age (both spouses of a Family Membership), 25% of One-time Initiation Fee ($325) instead of $1,300 and annual dues of ($571) = $896 first year total. 

Junior Membership - If between 18 and 23 years of age, No Initiation Fee and ($110) annual dues. Requires current member to act as sponsor for duration of membership. Please contact Membership@MonmouthBoatClub.org if interested in a Junior Membership.
