Cruising Fleet Meet & Eat!

featuring a presentation by the author of
AJ Meerwald and NJ's Oyster Industry*
The Cruising Fleet Meet and Eat (CFM&E) starts at 6:00pm with a cocktail hour (Beer & Wine) followed by dinner at 7:00pm. Presentation to start at 7:30pm.
The way the CFM&E works is a member or group of members volunteer to cook the meal for that month. All expenses are reimbursed by the Cruising Fleet.
This month's menu will be Ceasar salad and garden salad with your choice of grilled chicken, grilled shrimp or poached salmon. Dessert will be pound cake with strawberries, and vanilla ice cream.
Membership to the Cruising Fleet is $20.00 per family per year and each CFM&E cost $10.00 per person. Meetings are well attended and are a great social event.

Then, co-author Rachel Dolhanczyk will share highlights from the new book The AJ Meerwald and New Jersey's Oyster Industry that charts the history of New Jersey's Delaware Bay oysters and the historic ship, 1928 Schooner AJ Meerwald, that carries the industry's traditions today. Following the talk there will be a book signing. Books will be available for purchase.
