Historic Monmouth Boat Club, located on the Navesink River in downtown Red Bank, was founded in 1879, making it one of the oldest clubs in the country. For more than 135 years we have been welcoming new members and their families.
You will find a friendly atmosphere of small and large boat sailors, rowers, kayakers and paddle boarders willing to show you the facility and explain the fun and benefits of joining our club. Membership and boat space is surprisingly affordable because the club is maintained by the members.

COVID-19 Update from the Commodore, Bob Markoff
To help stem the spread of COVID-19, Red Bank has declared a Local State of Emergency (http://www.redbanknj.org/civicalerts.aspx?AID=211) and all places of business capable of gatherings of 25 or more individuals are to shut down today until further notice. Government and health officials - local and national - are requesting that immediately where ever possible, all non-essential social gatherings be eliminated to help stop the spread of the virus. In support of this all-important goal, the BOG has decided that the correct course of action for MBC is to postpone all scheduled events, including Frostbiting, for at least the remainder of March.
Therefore, effective at 7pm this evening, the MBC Club House will be secured and the front door card reader will be disabled. If you need to retrieve anything from the Club, please do so before 7pm tonight. All Frostbite boats need to be removed from the Yard by 3pm Saturday, March 21st.
We will monitor on a daily basis the battle against COVID-19, and will provide information for future events, including FloatsIn and re-opening the Club, as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we endure this unprecedented challenge. We will return to a state of normal operations as soon as feasible.
