It was a beautiful night to sail, even though a little more wind might have been nice. Especially in the last race which took over half an hour for most finishers.

The conditions rewarded sailing with a your boat’s handicap rating in mind. Thom Lee, who had finishes of 1, 2, 1, and Taugh Lynch, with finishes of 2, 1, 2 got the best of the handicap equations by sailing as quickly as they could around the course and avoiding interference from other boats as much as possible.

Thanks to Marc Gordon for stepping out of his rigged boat and into the Principle Race Officer role at the last moment.
