Dan Vought took first place in one of the windier days of racing this year. With the club’s weather vane recording 25 mph, the fleet of 8 Wood Pussy sailors braved the challenging conditions. Dale Barney placed second and Joe Cahill came in third. Congratulations to Dan and all the competitors…many were just happy to make it back the to dock in one piece!

It was a bit cool for a Tuesday Evening Series but all the other typical factors were there. Beautiful sailing, good racing, and good people. Winds went from moderate to light over the course of the evening and Les did a great job keeping the courses straight. Thanks Les!
Thom Lee won all the races (but that was just luck ;)). for complete results, visit monmouthboatclub.org/results.
