Sunday’s sailing started to feel a little more like real frostbiting. With temperatures in the 40s it was certainly a chilly day for Laser sailing, but that did not deter 12 sailors from competing in 5 races with wind from 0-10mph.
Matt Geittig won the day with finishes of 6-1-2-1-1, including a win in a drifter during race 5 that culminated in the fleet getting towed back to the clubhouse. Regarding Matt, I believe I have an incorrect email address for him. Please forward this email and Cc me if you have it.
Also worthy of note, John Surguy and Talbott Pratt have sailed every Sunday of the series with 30+ races each. Nice dedication guys!!!
Even better, we now have 15 sailors who have competed in at least 10 races over the last six weeks.
See you Sunday, December 6th. Only three weeks of fall frostbiting remain. First gun is targeted for 12pm so plan to arrive a little earlier.
See you on the water.
