Congratulations to Dan Vought, George Harrington, and Doug Marsh for winning the Labor Day Regatta in the Flying Scot, Lightning, and Albacore fleets respectively. It was a beautiful, yet difficult day for sailing. Sunny skies and cooler temperatures were nice. Light and variable winds that shifted through 180 degrees and eventually died out completely made PRO Randy Dickerson’s job of running races unusually difficult. Ultimately, the regatta consisted of a single race for the one design fleets and none for the Cruising fleet. Many thanks to Randy and the rest of the race committee for making the most of the day.
