buoy 21 osprey nest straightened

MBC members welcomed many wonderful people at the Open House on Saturday.  They came to see inside the beautiful club house, to try a sailboat ride, or both.  All found much to enjoy this holiday weekend and appreciated the great burgers and hotdogs, too.

Repeat sailors to buoy 21 noticed a big improvement  this year for the osprey.  Their nest no longer had to be built on a tilted platform thanks to an anonymous benefactor and the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ.

For those who are interested in rowing a shell, here is a link to information about Learn to Row Day on Saturday 7 June.
